Village in Armavir Province, Facing Water Woes

Residents of Zartonk, a village located west of Yerevan in Armavir Province, say the government has overlooked their community’s concerns. High salt concentrations in the soil and contaminated irrigation water are the main economic and social woes of this agricultural region.
