The Geneva Conventions at 70: New Challenges of Warfare

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions. The conventions were created after World War II to establish international rules that apply only in times of armed conflict and seek to protect people who are not or are no longer taking part in hostilities.
