Protests in Yerevan: Opposition Calls for Civil Disobedience

It is the third day of protest at France Square in Yerevan. Nikol Pashinyan, leader of the Civil Contract party, has called on the citizens to start civil disobedience on Monday, April 16 by blocking all the major bridges and streets of the city, as well as the subway. On the evening of April 13, roughly 5000 demonstrators gathered in France Square. They demand that former President Serzh Sargsyan not become Prime Minister.
