From a self produced and distributed humorous short My Big Fat Armenian Family, which put him through film school, Sev Ohanian went on to receive the Breakthrough Filmmaker Award in 2013 and made The Wrap Annual list of 11 Innovators Changing Hollywood in 2014. The filmmaker with 9 feature films under his belt is currently in Armenia, teaching 12 teenagers the ins and outs of film production.
