The European Commission is supporting eight civil society organizations (four in Armenia, four in Turkey) to work on the Armenia-Turkey normalization process. Emel Kurma of the Helsinki Citizens Assembly (Istanbul) and Gevorg Ter-Gabrielyan (Eurasia Partnership Foundation, Armenia) represent two of the consortium’s eight organizations. They talk with Salpi Ghazarian about the work that some in Turkish and Armenian civil societies are conducting in order to normalize relations, in the run-up to 2015 and genocide commemoration.
