President Serzh Sargsyan is expected to travel to the US on September 23 to participate in the 69th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. While there, he will also deliver a speech at Columbia University, reports the president’s press service.
While in the states, the president is scheduled to meet with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Council of Europe’s Secretary-General Thorbjorn Jagland, National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations (NECO) Chairman Nasser Kazeminy, leading experts in international relations, representatives of the Armenian communities, as well other officials and heads of state.
Also during his stay in New York, Sargsyan will attend and deliver a speech at the 7th Annual “ArmTech Congress ’14”– a global Armenian high tech industry and business conference and networking platform of the Republic of Armenia– along with US Ambassador to Armenia John A. Heffern.
