War, Trauma, and Mental Health after the Karabakh War

Since the end of the Karabakh War in November 2020, Armenian psychiatrists have plenty of work ahead of them.

Many soldiers came back from the frontlines with both physical injuries and with mental traumas caused by the atrocious experience in the battlefield. Many others are still missing, leaving families in despair without any news about their relatives.

From the first day of the war, the MHS Mental Health Service has created a support program to address the mental health issue. It provides free psychological services to all soldiers and their families in need of it.
