The Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Development of Communities (ISSD), an Armenia-based environmental organization, has succeeded in recycling and transforming plastic bottles into synthetic winterizers and threads.
Since 2018, the organization has been working on a technology that transforms used plastic into another material. Their model is based on the circular economy, which includes production and consumption, but also involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling materials and products for as long as possible.
