Madan, a Greek Village in the Heart of Armenia

The predominantly Greek village of Madan was founded in 1752. Today only five Greek families live here.

The first house when entering Madan is Vasya Aslanov’s house, a Greek that lived his entire life here. Right in the yard of his house, in the part visible to passers-by, Aslanov placed a sign notifying the date of the creation of the village.
