As Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces encroach on Armenia’s border in the Syunik and Gegharkunik regions, the need for military tents has significantly increased. Recently, images have been circulating online of Armenian servicemen using low quality or makeshift tents, showing the poor living conditions of soldiers serving in Armenia’s most important positions. A group of Armenians, with a mission to change that, started the Tents for Armenian Heroes initiative, to raise funds and deliver high quality tents to the frontline, so that the border is better protected and the soldiers can get a good night’s sleep.
