“We continue to live the way he would have wanted us to.” Ashot Matosyan’s story

Ashot Matosyan’s wife, Shushanik Aloyan, says her husband seemed to anticipate the start of the war. Before the war broke out, he was already worried and anxious, and was not surprised to receive the terrible news. He left for the battlefield on September 28, leaving his wife and three minor children at home. He died about a month later while transporting injured soldiers.

Shushanik confesses that it is difficult without her husband, but she is determined to live and raise their children the way he dreamed of.
