The old and the new of winemaking in Armenia’s Voskevaz Winery

Founded in 1932, Voskevaz is the oldest winery in Armenia. The wines are produced locally, using both modern methods, as well as traditional jars made in the late 19th century. Voskevaz produces 17 wine varieties, which are exported to various countries all over the world. CivilNet visited Voskevaz wine factory in Armenia’s Aragatsotn region to get acquainted with the history of its creation and current development.
