Senior lieutenant Arthur Davidyan, who accidentally crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on August 22, 2021, has been repatriated to Armenia. The news was announced today by Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan in the country’s parliament. According to the Defense Ministry, Davidyan left his permanent post on August 22, after which all contact was lost with him.
According to preliminary information, Davidyan got lost and appeared in Azerbaijan due to poor visibility in the mountains.
