My Forest Armenia: Planting Forest for Armenia’s Future

Far in the mountains of Jrashen in Armenia’s Lori region, the villagers in Shirakamut are ready for the planting season.

Each day, from 9am to 5pm, the villagers dig around 200-250 holes. Their mission is to plant 400,000 trees every year in collaboration with My Forest Armenia.

Andre Gumuchdjian, the founder of My Forest Armenia who is a Belgian-Armenian entrepreneur, knows this is achievable and he has a goal to plant 400,000 trees.
