The Armenia Tree Project has planted its seven millionth tree in Margahovit village in the country’s northern Lori region. The charitable foundation has been operating for 26 years, and with the help of donors, specialists and volunteers, has been carrying out a reforestation drive throughout Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. It had previously set the ambitious goal of planting seven million trees, but the organization is now setting its sights even higher.
