Armenia reported no casualties in either village, but the Khachik mayor’s car was damaged in the shooting. Khachik and Yelpin, both located along Armenia’s border with Nakhichevan, join a long list of Armenian villages and towns that have been targeted in this way since the end of the 2020 Karabakh war, causing angst among local residents.
