Closing the gender gap in Armenia’s burgeoning tech sector

Seda Papoyan, the managing director of the Armenian chapter of Girls in Tech, a global non-profit seeking to close the gender gap in tech around the world, sat down with CivilNet to talk about the upcoming FemInno conference. The conference, which will take place on July 30-31 in Yerevan, will have over 30 speakers from around the world, as well as master classes and workshops. Papoyan discussed why the participation of women in tech is important, how the FemInno conference seeks to achieve better representation for women in tech, and why companies are realizing that diversity policies improve their chances of success.
