Almost 50,000 people moved from Russia to Armenia since January, Russia says

Since the beginning of this year, 49,000 people have moved from Russia to Armenia, according to Russia’s Federal State Statistics Service.

One Armenian soldier was shot dead Monday evening in a clash between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops.

The Armenian and Russian foreign ministers discussed a possible official visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to Armenia some time this year at a meeting in Moscow.
