As Armenia reels from Azerbaijan’s major attack this week, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has raised the death toll on the Armenian side to 135. Though a fragile ceasefire appears to be holding for now, Azerbaijani troops captured about 10 square kilometers of territory within Armenia proper in the attacks. Moreover, at least 2,570 Armenian civilians were displaced from their homes in this week’s clashes, while 192 houses in towns and villages along the border were damaged in the shelling.
