France, UK, US call on Azerbaijan to pull back from Armenian territory

  • Armen Grigoryan, Armenia’s Security Council head, and Hikmet Hajiyev, a senior assistant to Azerbaijan’s president, met yesterday at the White with U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
  • France, the United Kingdom, and the United States have separately called on Azerbaijani forces to return to their initial positions after launching a major attack on Armenia earlier this month.
  • Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan said during a press conference that it would be “absurd” to expect Russia or the Collective Security Treaty Organization to intervene militarily in the region.
