Humanitarian crisis in Karabakh worsens, Azerbaijan continues region’s blockade for 8th day

For the 8th consecutive day, a group of Azerbaijanis posing as so-called environmentalists continue blockade the Lachin corridor, which is the only road connecting Karabakh to Armenia and thus, to the outside world.

Accompanied by convoys of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Russian peacekeepers, it was possible to transport one patient from Artsakh to Armenia for heart surgery on Monday. Medical operations are still suspended in Artsakh; medicine and food are not being supplied either.
