Armenia’s first-ever citizens’ assembly debates country’s challenges

As Armenia grapples with a number of challenges, 200 people from Armenia, Karabakh and the diaspora gathered in Yerevan for the inaugural Future Armenian Convention to participate in the country’s first citizens’ assembly. A citizen’s assembly is a group randomly selected to deliberate on important public questions. The three-day event focused on three main themes: historic responsibility, demographic challenges and Armenia-diaspora relations.
