Austrian, Armenian scientists sign agreement to study Armenia’s Mars-like terrain

The Armenian Aerospace Agency signed a memorandum of understanding over the weekend with the Austrian Space Forum regarding the AMADEE-224 Mars Analog Mission, which is set to be held in Armenia. The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of INNO Armenia 2023’s National Innovation and Entrepreneurship week at Yerevan’s TUMO Center for Creative Technologies. Experts at the event also held panel discussions and exchanged knowledge and experience, mainly in the field of technology commercialization. The Austrian scientists that CivilNet’s team met noted that certain parts of Armenia have a lot of similarities with Mars’ terrain.
