Foreign ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan note ‘some progress’ in peace talks

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a tripartite meeting today in Moscow with his Azerbaijani and Russian counterparts, Jeyhun Bayramov and Sergey Lavrov. Mirzoyan noted that the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire clearly states that the Lachin corridor should be under the control of Russian peacekeepers, but that unfortunately, the Armenian side cannot say that Russia currently controls the key road due to Azerbaijan’s presence there.
