- The Eurasian Development Bank said it will decide to move forward with financing Armenia’s Amulsar mine only after an environmental impact assessment is completed.
- The French drinks giant Pernod Ricard, which owns the Yerevan Brandy Factory, said it will cease distribution of its products in Russia, the biggest market for Armenian brandy.
- The International Monetary Fund forecast Armenia’s economy to grow by 5.5% this year, noting “short-term benefits” from the war in Ukraine while warning of “longer-term risks.”
- Armenia’s year-on-year inflation rate fell sharply last month to 3.2% — below the Central Bank’s 4% inflation target for this year.
