Armenia approves humanitarian aid shipment to Gaza

Armenia, with Egypt’s assistance, will provide about 30 tons of desperately needed humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan confirmed.
Pashinyan slammed remarks by Nagorno-Karabakh’s former leader claiming to lead a government-in-exile, calling the comments a threat to Armenia’s national security.
Talks between Armenia, the European Union, and the United States next week will be focused on economic and humanitarian issues, a State Department spokesperson said.
As of now, Armenia is not considering applying to join the EU, the country’s parliament speaker confirmed, while leaving open the possibility of doing so at a later date.
Russia rejects the term “corridor” to describe a potential transit route connecting mainland Azerbaijan and Nakhichevan via Armenia, a government spokesperson said.
