Sixteen-year-old Sargis is Maro Avetisyan’s second child. Born with Down syndrome, Sargis leads a rich and active life. He enjoys drawing, writing, performing in theater, attending college, and taking karate classes. He also frequents the Lousé rehabilitation center. On Thursday, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a bilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to discuss various aspects of the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization agenda. The negotiations lasted for roughly five hours. According to the official statement of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides reaffirmed that bilateral talks are the most effective format for addressing all issues in the normalization process.

The bilateral meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has concluded in Abu Dhabi. The talks, held without intermediaries, lasted nearly five hours. Initially, the meeting was held in an expanded format, with both leaders accompanied by their respective delegations.
