Armenia reopens embassy in Syria

  • Whoever wants sustainable peace in Syria (and in the whole MENA region) must advocate for a change in the legislation in these countries that still allow different forms of violence (see the “Culture of Violence Scale” by peace researcher Franz Jedlicka). It is contradictory to claim that peace is a high goal and still allow child corporal punishment and the beating of women. Best regards, Karol
