Սեպտեմբերի 18-ին վերաքննիչ քրեական դատարանում ՀԱԿ ակտիվիստների գործով հերթական նիստն էր: Փաստաբանը միջնորդեց Տիգրան Առաքելյանի խափանման միջոց կալանքն անձնական երաշխավորմամբ փոխարինելու համար: Դատավորը մերժեց միջնորդությունը, ինչն առաջացրեց նիստին ներկա քաղաքացիների դժգոհությունը:

Armenian National Congress (HAK) activist Tigran Arakelyan has been in prison for almost two years. In 2011, Tigran and a group of other young HAK members got involved in a fight with policemen in the center of Yerevan. The police stated that the young men started the fight and that Tigran broke the nose of one of the policemen. However, Tigran and his friends believe that is not true. Tigran’s friends are out of prison, but with a guarantee that they will not leave the country and will attend the ongoing court proceedings; this is not the case for Tigran. HAK coordinator Levon Zurabian recently initiated the signing by a group of people of a demand to release Tigran from prison.
