Why Democracies Fail and How They Can Succeed?

Emeritus Professor of Political Theory at King’s College, Cambridge John Dunn has delivered a lecture in the American University of Armenia on January 8, entitled “Why Democracies Fail and How They Can Succeed?” John Dunn, is a Professor of Political Theory who has spent the last 25 years tracing the complex trajectory of democracy, as an idea and as a practice. Professor Dunn is recognized as one of the foremost theorists in Europe, being chosen as one of the three political philosophers in John Naughton’s list of Britain’s top intellectuals.
