From its inception in 1992, the ARPA Institute has been developing and realizing projects with the intention to assist in the development and prosperity of Armenia. ARPA founder and president Hagop Panossian spoke with CivilNet about the Institute’s activities in Armenia and in particular the Invention Competition, which they sponsor. The competition is an integral part of ARPA’s mission to help build capacity for innovation by nurturing remarkable university students who show promise in advancing industrial production in Armenia to explore and develop their genius in technology, applied science, or other fields.
