Viet Thanh Nguyen on the Value of the Humanities | Innovate Armenia | USC

Scientists, musicians, entrepreneurs, humanitarians and public intellectuals gathered at University of Southern California for the INNOVATE ARMENIA festival, held on September 23, 2017.

The day-long program is a way to celebrate the Armenian diaspora in all its multicultural splendor, and revolved around rethinking, redefining, and reimagining identity, education, culture.

USC Professor Viet Thanh Nguyen, who was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 2016 and the MacArthur “genius grant” in 2017, speaks about the value of the humanities.
