Improving Armenia’s Health System

Improving Armenia’s healthy system was one of the topics of conversation at Innovate Armenia, a festival of ideas and action that took place at the University of Southern California on May 18. Doctor Shant Shekherdimian, a pediatric surgeon at UCLA, talked about sustainable solutions for improving Armenia’s health care system, particularly with the contribution of the diaspora.

Innovate Armenia is organized by the USC Institute of Armenian Studies. The program featured fifty participants, from six countries, and nearly 4,000 attendees. This is the fourth time in five years that this unique event has been staged by the Institute.
