Ronald Grigor Suny, Emeritus Professor of Political Science and History at the University of Chicago, presented a five-part lecture series at the Hrant Dink Foundation in Istanbul under the theme of “Armenians and Armenia in the Age of Extremes.” Part four describes the unique characteristics of the global Armenian diaspora, and examines the complex relationship between the diaspora and the Republic of Armenia.

Part five explains how history has shaped the modern-day Armenian experience.
