Writer, filmmaker and Emeritus Professor of Comparative Literature at the Royal Military College of Canada, Dr. Lorne Shirinian presented a paper, “Orphans of the Armenian Genocide with Special Reference to the Georgetown Boys and Girls in Canada,” at a conference dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide in The Hague. The conference was organized by Alexis Demirdjian of the Centennial Project Foundation, the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies and the USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies.
