Hannibal Travis: Counterinsurgency as Genocidal Intent

Associate Professor of Law at Florida International University, Hannibal Travis presented a paper entitled, “Counterinsurgency as Genocidal Intent: From the Ottoman Christians to the Muslims of Yugoslavia,” at a conference dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide in The Hague. The conference was organized by Alexis Demirdjian of the Centennial Project Foundation, the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies and the USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies.
