Editor at the Armenian weekly newspaper Agos in Turkey and Oral History Project Coordinator at the Hrant Dink Foundation, journalist Ferda Balancar presented a paper, “Creating Awareness in Turkey’s Public on Genocide: The Role of Agos” at a conference at The Hague. Organized by Alexis Demirdjian of the Centennial Project Foundation, the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies and the USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies, the conference was entitled “The Armenian Genocide’s Legacy 100 Years Later.”
