Session of Armenia’s New Parliament – Live in English

Armenia’s new parliament held the first part of its first session on January 14, during which the deputies elected Ararat Mirzoyan as president of parliament. However, following the eight hour session, the members failed to appoint new deputy presidents, one of which must be an opposition member. Following a heated debate between the two opposition parties, Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia, the session was suspended and is resuming on Tuesday, January 15.
