A Family's Story From Shushi

The Hakobyan family lost their father and their home in Shushi as a result of the Karabakh War. They had temporarily relocated to Yerevan during the war, with the hope of returning to Shushi in a few days. Now, with their home and breadwinner gone, they have resettled in one of the neighborhoods of Yerevan. They tell CIVILNET about their struggles as they adapt to a new way of life.
