Armenians went to the polls on December 9 to elect a new parliament. Preliminary results show that acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s party, My Step Alliance received over 70 percent of the vote and the old ruling party, the Republican Party of Armenia did not receive enough votes to remain in parliament.
