Starting in the 2006-2007 schoolyear, Armenian schools started moving towards a 12 year school system, as opposed to the Soviet 10-year model, to better integrate with the school systems of most western countries. Further effects remain to be seen, but for now it’s causing students to re-plan their futures starting at age 18 instead of 16.

Independent audit finds more irregularities in Armenian ruling party’s finances
