Թուրքիայում ապրող լրագրող Ահմեդ Աբաքայն 82-ամյա մոր հայ լինելը բացահայտելուց հետո այդ մասին պատմում է իր գրքում: Գրքի հրապարակումից հետո Աբաքայը սպառնալիքներ է ստանում իր ազգականներից, որոնք չեն կարողանում հաշտվել իրականության հետ: Աբաքայը հասկանում է, թե ինչու էր մայրը մինչև կյանքի վերջը պահել այդ գաղտնիքը, բայց ինքը չէր կարող լռել:
When he found out that his 82 year old mother was Armenian, journalist Ahmet Abakay from Turkey wrote a book. After it was published, Abakay received threats from relatives who cannot come to terms with the reality. Abakay understands that his mother had no choice but to keep this secret until the end, but he couldn’t remain silent.
