30 years of saving thousands of Armenians from preventable blindness

The Armenian Eyecare Project is a non-profit that has been working for three decades to provide eye care to thousands of Armenians, as well as to increase public education and capacity building in the country. Dr. Roger Ohanesian, an ophthalmologist from California and the president of the Armenian Eyecare Project, spoke to CivilNet about how the organization’s work has changed since its founding in 1992, his future plans for the project and what inspired him to take on the endeavor.
