Life in Jermuk slowly returning after Azerbaijan’s attack

Life in Jermuk in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor region is slowly coming back to normal. The mountain town is known as a tourist hotspot due to its many hotels and spas. Azerbaijan’s major attack in September, which included shelling Jermuk, caused most visitors and many residents to leave. Civilian infrastructure, including the town’s cable car, was damaged. Now, tourists are starting to return, and repair works are underway.
