Russian and Iranian artists find community in a remote Armenian town

Tumanyan is a town nestled in the Debed Canyon, in Armenia’s northern Lori region. What started as an initiative for Russian migrants turned into a community of international artists. This video is about the life of artists in Abastan, what precarious situations they have escaped from, and how the space serves as a place of refuge.
