About Larisa Hovannisian

Larisa Hovannisian is the founder and CEO of Teach for Armenia, a social impact organization dedicated to catalyzing impact-driven leaders addressing educational inequity for all children in Armenia and formerly in Artsakh. She holds a double degree in International Business and French, a minor in Graphic Design from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, and a master’s degree in special education from Arizona State University. As an educational activist, Larisa was nationally recognized by the Armenian government in 2016 for her contribution to the advancement of Armenia through her work with Teach for Armenia.
