Armenia agrees to expand trade with Egypt, plans to send aid to Gaza

  • Russia’s top diplomat called his Armenian counterpart yesterday, days after warning Yerevan must make a “final decision” on the future of its relations with Moscow.
  • Armenia has formally requested Russia withdraw its border guards from Yerevan’s main airport, according to the head of Armenia’s Security Council.
  • Armenia and Egypt agreed to expand commercial and trade relations. In addition, Yerevan indicated plans to send humanitarian aid to Gaza with Cairo’s assistance.
