Protesters were halted by a police barricade on Baghramyan Street and they were prevented from going any further at the intersection of Baghramyan and Mashtots Streets. Pedestrians walked as far as the Baghramyan-Demirjian intersection where they were forced back, and some of them were even arrested.

Protesters led by Mikael Adjapahyan, Archbishop of the northwestern Shirak region, left Gyumri today with plans to join Archbishop of Tavush Bagrat Galstanyan’s march as it approaches Yerevan.
