Armenia in favor of Russian peace proposals, Pashinyan tells Russian envoy

  • Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken agreed in a phone call to continue steps to increase security and stability in the region.
  • Armenia supports proposals presented by Russia in August to normalize relations with Azerbaijan, Pashinyan said.
  • Pashinyan accused Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev of inciting hatred and terrorizing the population of Armenia, after Aliyev said that southern Armenian cities are within Azerbaijan’s sight.
