Azerbaijani soldier who crossed into Armenia murdered Armenian civilian, says ruling party MP

  • Narek Ghahramanyan, an Armenian lawmaker from the ruling Civil Contract party, told reporters today in parliament that one of the Azerbaijani servicemen who was arrested in Armenia after crossing the border last week was responsible for the murder of an Armenian civilian.
  • Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that peace with Azerbaijan will be possible if all parties recognize Soviet Armenia’s 29,800 square kilometer area as constituting the modern-day Armenian Republic. “We not only don’t have any territorial claims toward any other country, but we also will never have any,” Pashinyan added.
